An educational institution for blind and visually impaired children has reached out to our foundation.
Municipal Institution “Odesa Special School No. 93 of the Odesa Regional Council.”
The institution provides education for students with visual impairments (blind and low-vision) as well as those with complex developmental disabilities (blindness combined with intellectual disabilities).
The institution ensures the provision of general secondary education at the following educational levels:
* Preschool education – compensatory-type preschool groups for children with visual impairments (blind and low-vision);
* Primary education – grades 1–4 (for blind children);
* Basic secondary education – grades 5–10 (for blind children);
* Specialized secondary education – grades 11–12 (for blind and low-vision children).
Obtaining a complete general secondary education and receiving correctional and developmental services at the Institution for students (pupils) is free of charge, funded by the state budget through educational subsidies, funds provided by the Owner, and other sources not prohibited by law.

The Head of the Institution, Yurii Yevhenovych Semeniuk, warmly welcomed the Director of the “Support YES!” Foundation, Oleksii Volodymyrovych Mankov, and gave a tour of the school. During the visit, he spoke about the school’s achievements, its dedicated team, and the students — as well as about the institution’s current needs.
We visited every corner of the school and saw with our own eyes the tremendous work being done by its staff to ensure that children become full members of society, experience the world around them, and enjoy life to the fullest.
